WORKSHOPS & ROUNDTABLES:
* Major Works and Movements in American Musical Theatre
Thursday, August 6th, 2020 - 7-8:30pm
Presented by Milburn Stone Theatre's Technical Director: William Bryant
New to musical theatre or just want to get a better understanding of the art form and its origins? This workshop will introduce the major works and movements that brought us what we think of as musicals today. Starting in the late 1800s and moving to modern days, we will look, at and hopefully listen to, snippets of many landmark productions as well as denote others that will help develop an appreciation for the trailblazers of the past that led to the smash hits of today.
This virtual workshop will take place on AnyMeeting. The link to join the meeting will be sent out the day of the event. If you join via your phone/tablet you will need to download the free app, and you will not be able to see the chat box, so it is recommended that you join via a Desktop or Laptop Computer.
