SHOWTIX4U STREAMING QUESTIONS

Purchasing MST tickets via ShowTix4U is easy and can be done in less than two minutes!  

​

1. Visit https://www.showtix4u.com/events/mst in your web browser of choice.

2. Click the “Rent Video” Button under your show of choice.

3. Select a Single Viewer or Group Ticket and you can select how many devices you want to have access on 

4. Click “Check Out”

5. You will receive a pop-up window that explains how long you have to view your selection, for an example "The video will be available to watch from Friday, May 7 at 7:00pm to Monday, May 31 at 11:45pm." Please note that this message will vary depending on the production and how long it will be up and running on ShowTix4U 

6. Once you start the performance you will have 48 hours to complete it. 

7. You will receive a link to watch the performance via email once you check out. Once you read through the information click “Ok”

8. Fill in the form on the final page and click “Pay with Card”. 

9. Sit Back & Enjoy! 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

I purchased a ticket, how do I view this event?

 

The easiest way to view your streaming event is from the email confirmation.

-On a computer or mobile device, simply click the “Watch Stream” button in the “How to Access” section of your email.

-On your AppleTV, download the ShowTix4U app and enter your 6 digit alphanumeric Stream Access Code found in the email.

-Download your Access Codes and receipt, distribute to your guests, and have them enter their 6 digit alphanumeric Stream Access Code at www.ShowTix4U.com/stream

Only 1 device per access code can be logged into a stream.

 

Keep in mind you'll want to be on an updated browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge. There is more information regarding compatible browsers here.

What Browser/Operating System are suggested for view?

Supported Browsers to Watch Streams

ShowTix4U supports playback in most, current browsers. Due to security vulnerabilities, if you’re using an older browser or operating system, you’ll need to upgrade to continue watching your ShowTix4U stream.

Here is a list of our supported browsers/versions in order from most to least recommended

 

*ShowTix4U streams are only supported in Firefox for Windows 8 and later. Earlier versions of FIrefox are no longer supported for playback.

*Older versions of Internet Explorer (IE 10, 9, 8, etc) lack security protocols and cannot be used to watch streams from ShowTix4U. As of January, 2016, Microsoft has stopped releasing updates to older version of IE.

Supported Operating Systems to Watch Streams

The ShowTix4U Player works on a wide range of operating systems, but we only guarantee full functionality on systems that are currently supported by their creators.

  • Windows 8+

  • MacOS Sierra (10.12.6)+

  • Android 6+

  • iOS 12.6+

Internet Connections to Watch Streams

  • ShowTix4U requires a minimum STABLE download speed of 700kbps or faster in order to view the lowest quality stream. Since bandwidth can fluctuate for any number of reasons, we recommend you use a dedicated Internet connection of 5 Mbps or faster to stream videos from ShowTix4U.

  • For best performance, a hardwired connection via ethernet is best, but if you prefer to use Wi-Fi, be sure your router is configured correctly and that your network is not being shared with other devices. Also, make sure that other computers on your network are not streaming at the same time as you plan on watching a ShowTix4U stream.

  • The player will attempt to auto choose the resolution based on your internet speed.If you are experiencing buffering, click on the gear icon of the player and lower the resolution of the stream.

*  Can I watch SHOWTIX4U on my SmartTV?

​

You can watch on a computer or mobile device or on your Apple TV by downloading the ShowTix4U app.  Most Smart TV browsers do not directly support streaming from our platform. 

​

You can watch your event on a computer, tablet, or mobile device.

If you would like to watch on a TV, you can download the ShowTix4U app on your AppleTV or connect a computer or laptop to the HDMI input of the television. Casting Options: Do you have an Apple TV, Google Chrome Cast, Roku Device, or Amazon Fire Stick? If so, below are options for casting from a device to a TV.

AppleTV app

Download the ShowTix4U app on your AppleTV and enter your 6 digit alphanumeric Stream Access Code from your ticket email.

Airplay a video to Apple TV using Mobile Device

With your device connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV, start playing a video and tap the AirPlay icon in the lower right-hand corner of the player. Your selected video will begin playing on your TV! Click here for additional instructions.

Desktop Computer Airplay

If using a desktop computer, the Airplay icon will not appear in the player, you will want to use the native screen sharing of the computer monitor to stream your entire screen via Airplay or Cast and then put the player in full screen mode.

Cast a video to Chromecast

Click Here for Chromecast Instructions Chromecast does not allow you to cast your screen or tab from an iOS device. For this we recommend the application Replica. Click here for Replica

Roku (Windows and Android only)

ShowTix4U does not have an app on Roku, however, you can mirror a device to a Roku TV. Click here for Roku Mirroring Instructions
